Our board members are Christians who felt called to establish this nonprofit organization because our values align with core Christian principles such as service, integrity, compassion, and respect for others. While these values guide our work, our environment is welcoming and supportive for individuals of all backgrounds.
Creating an environment where participants can grow is a number one goal at One Step Recovery.
Our program is grounded in faith, fellowship, and transformation. Residents are encouraged to participate in Bible study, prayer, fellowship, and regular 12 step meeting attendance to strengthen their spiritual foundation and recovery walk. Through accountability, sponsorship, and shared experience, men are supported as they embrace a new way of living centered on faith, responsibility, and service to others.
Men participate in structured group settings up to three times per week focused on peer accountability, recovery principles, and life application. These groups are facilitated in a supportive environment that encourages open discussion, shared experience, and mutual responsibility within the sober living community.
Group discussions focus on topics such as personal accountability, relapse awareness, healthy decision making, spiritual growth, and applying recovery principles in daily life. These sessions are peer supported and recovery focused, not clinical treatment or therapy.
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Friendly
We welcome residents participating in MAT programs, including those prescribed Suboxone, Sublocade, Vivitrol, or methadone. All medications are securely stored and administered in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Job Preparedness & Education Support
Our reentry program focuses on helping residents prepare for life after recovery. We assist with résumé writing, job applications, interview preparation, and signing up for vocational training or schooling to promote independence and long-term success.
